2025 Goal. Get Back To Daytona to Visit
I want to try and save up $ to make it back to Daytona Beach. To try and heal my mind, body, soul and spirit some more. To visit the spirit of my son who is there since we spread his ashes there in 2023.
Daytona has been special to my entire family since I was a little kid. And I know the spirits of my father, my brother and my Madonna (Tammy) are all there along with my son, Austin.
The song is Cool Change by Little River Band. It has always reminded me of Daytona. I am Pisces. I was in the Daytona Ocean at 2 years I'd age. Grew up my summers there until I was 16.
Went back almost every other summer until my twenties.
When my son was born in November 1999, I had him in the ocean that following summer.
We went to Daytona Beach beach for summer for several years afterwards.
I taught him the ways of the ocean, how to understand and handle with tides and undercurrents just the way my father had taught me.
Daytona was special to him as it was to me.
There was one of our special bonds that we had.
